Blessed but, still need a Miracle

We have experienced so many hiccups in the past week, from chaos to concerns.  But also, in the very same week, our lives have been full of blessings.  How can both happen and both cause tears, although each tearful moment was different, as some were of pain while others were of joy?  We are mindful that no matter how blessed you are, no one is free from life’s concerns, but in everything, we must somehow find the spirit to remain thankful. I mean, have you ever found yourselves in this predicament before, where you are so grateful for your blessings but still concerned, so you continue to ask  God for that one miracle that would repair your heart or heal your body? If you haven’t been there before, then like my Big Mama used to say, “Child just keep on living, we all go through it sometimes”.

Well, she was right, she’s was always pretty spot on with her advice.  We have constantly seen and been through life’s hard lessons and in the midst of it, still awaiting that breakthrough that will have our heart finally admit, the blessings were great but we are so thankful for the manifestation of our prayers.  Now, Brian has a tug of war with prayer but, even with his prayer conflicts, he knows the impact can bring on the highest gratitude. So this morning, the tug was to get up early, take our coffee to the deck, watch the miracle and beauty of the sun rising and PRAY!!! That’s what we did, through gratitude and tears, we thanked God for our blessings and prayed for our miracle.

So, what we want you to know this Thanksgiving is - don’t ever allow anyone to tell you that you are being ungrateful for asking God for more. Only YOU know what that “more” means to you and your family and the miracle you are praying for. People don’t always have the greatest insight into your life and most don’t deserve VIP seats to your requests from God and the Universe. Be grateful this Thanksgiving in knowing that it is not unreasonable to have the grandest joy for your blessings while still standing steadfast on a needed miracle.

So keep thanking God for your Blessings but never stop asking Him for your Miracle - whatever that may be.

Happy Thanksgiving friends to you and your wonderful families! We love ya’ll for real!!
