That’s not your cup
It's often said that we should strive for what others have, and that success is measured by how much we accumulate. I don’t think we should strive for exactly what someone else has but, we could definitely use another persons successful journey as a gauge for our own. We all have unique journeys, each with its own set of challenges and victories. Therefore, I don't want what everyone else has - that is not my cup!
Advocating for each other
Becoming a unified front for each other is not easy. It really isn't the most pleasant attribute of being in a relationship but it is indeed a necessary step that must be taken. How you advocate for each other is always the tricky part. However, when the moment of need presents itself, you pray to choose the best path.
Blessed but, still need a Miracle
We have constantly seen and been through life’s hard lessons and in the midst of it, still awaiting that breakthrough that will have our heart finally admit, the blessings were great but we are so thankful for the manifestation of our prayers.
Geez, Microaggression Much?!
It doesn’t matter who you are or what ethnicity — microaggressions are very uncomfortable, whether it is done unintentionally or intentionally.
Broke but not Broken
We have been through our share of nothings, our share of hardship, our share of trials and tribulations, our share of simply being broke. Have you ever been so broke that you could not even afford a Pepsi and a bag of chips?
The Power of Conflict Resolution with Perspectives
Once a person denies the differences or perspectives of another, it shows the limitations in their thinking, therefore inclusively resolving conflict on a fair scale is not possible.
